The Bramley Reading Room, a spacious, peaceful room ideal for study, is located on the first floor of the Lawrence Batley Centre, and is reached either by steps behind the building, or through the library by way of a flyover. The room, which contains a television and video, and facilities for listening to LPs, audiocassettes and CDs), is ideal for researchers of the NAEA, the Bretton Estate Archive, and users of the University Library. The Library and Archive catalogues are computerised and the materials are protected by an electronic security system. Visitors should should make an appointment for visiting. Opening hours are as for the library as a whole, but please note the reading room does close at 4.30pm on Fridays.
