Robin Tanner began his teaching career in London, later moving to Ivy Green in Wiltshire. In 1935 he was invited to become His Majesty’s Inspector (HMI) where his first posting was to Leeds.
This small, but significant collection of his teaching at Ivy Lane includes lino printed textiles, (some with their blocks), book covers and a copy of Christmas Pictures by Children taught by Franz Cizek, with an introduction by Edward Dulac (1922).
